I think this is a step in the right direction for Starbucks. For any business today, you have to consider how volatile the market is and act accordingly to prevent a financial crisis in the future. In short, you’ve got to trim the hedges once in a while!

I agree with you there dear, everyone loves Starbucks, I am just praying that they don’t shut the stores close to my place because I would not survive without my caramel macchiato.

There is Starbucks all over the world so it is kind of a shock when they said that their sales are decreasing. I see a line at my local Starbucks every single day so they are probably just looking for more ways to get more money.

150 though? Those are a lot of stores. Think of the hundreds of families that will be affected by these closures. For me, I think it’s a little too extreme for my liking. It’s no wonder investors are pulling out of Starbucks. It’s a sinking ship guys.

It’s no surprise really. People’s preferences change over time and trends come and go. But still, it’s kinda sad knowing it’s the workers that will get affected the most for these changes.

Never really a fan of the company and their overpriced coffee but I kinda feel bad for the employees that are affected by this. But I guess that’s just how business works.
