The only reason at&t had to buy Time Warner is so that they could compete with Netflix. They won’t be able to since Netflix is the best, Apple and Amazon can’t even do it and they’re already big enough. The only HBO show I watched was Game of Thrones and it would’ve been a great move for them if it is still at its peak since everyone definitely loved it.

With these giant corporations merging, I shudder to think they’ll end up monopolizing the American entertainment services and they’ll be charging us with hefty subscription fees! If this happens, I think I’ll go for alternative sites which offers cheaper subscription services like Netflix or Amazon. There’s no way I’m going to pay more for a giant company who’s controlling everything.

The smartest thing AT&T did was make sure they got judge Leon. Horrible how one judge decides the entire Entertainment industry is allowed to merge.

I totally agree with you Dawn. As a tv junkie myself, this definitely spells more time in the house for moi and a little less movement. I mean, if I have all the shows in the world, what’ the point of going outside? Nevertheless, this will also mean reactivating my gym membership to stay fit!!

Wow, this is amazing! I hope this merger will be implemented soon! I can finally watch HBO, Warner Bros films, and even Turner under one channel or subscription! It’s all I could ask for! I’m willing to pay an extra money to avail this one of a kind entertainment services!
