Matt Lauer: $25 Million

This 59-year-old NBC anchor made his name known to Americans after joining Today, in 1994. Matt rose to prominence in 1997 when he got an opportunity to replace the already established anchor Bryant Gumbel to co-anchor Today with Katie Couric. He has had an illustrious career in Journalism where he got to interview every mogul personality, from President to Prince to A-list celebrities. But his stars started ebbing when the blame of Ann Curry’s departure from the network was put on him. That might have affected the viewership of his show, but his contract worth $25 million didn’t suffer due to that. With all the hard-work from years, Matt is now $60 million worth which will surely make you wonder about his financial management skills.
