Living alone might come with perks, but the chances of accidentally getting locked out are many! There are a lot of places where one could hide the spare key near the front door. But no matter where you hide it, there’s always a hint of worry of its hiding place being too obvious.

Here’s a proposition! The simplest solution would be to first put the key into an empty pill bottle. Glue the bottle with the key on any piece of foliage found in your front yard and just place it back in its original position while burying the bottle underneath. Just make sure to remember where you hid it!
