Grant Show Was Actually Offered The Role Of Brad Pitt in Thelma & Louise
In 1991, the full movie Thelma & Louise became a hit and instantly made actor Brad Pitt an icon. However, before Brad was offered the role, it was Grant Show who was the first choice but he had to reject the offer. At that time, he was already working on the Jackie Collins mini-series Lucky Chances and even if he wanted to play the part, he couldn’t get out of the contract. So to avoid any issue, he turned down the role which eventually landed on the hands of Pitt. Show said that Pitt did a great job and that Pitt, in fact, had a better performance than what he would’ve delivered.
