A 1995 Terrorist Attack Made A Significant Effect On The The Third Season Finale
In the final moments of the third season, a crazy character named Kimberly was about to blow up Melrose Place. However, the screen cut the scene with “to be continued.” Before the airing of the 1995 finale, the Oklahoma City bombing occurred. The original storyline was supposed to end with the plot of Kimberly, the scene would’ve shown the detonation, with Kim flying up in the air and Amanda falling from the stairs. The original plan was to have the viewers wait until the fourth season to see if one of the characters would die or require medical treatment after the explosion. They didn’t push through with the plan after the real bombing took place.
