It actually became unrealistic that after seven years, the characters were still living in the same building after becoming successful in their careers and with the earnings they were supposed to have. Some might have tried to ignore it but it was always a subject of the writers with the most common question: “Why haven’t they moved?” According to one of the producers, there were flaws in the story that they could no longer patch up, such as Amanda making a lot of cash but still choosing to live in a tiny apartment. They may have delayed its ending but at that point, it was no longer believable.
