Researchers traced back Queen Elizabeth’s family tree to 43 generations ago in a recent study to reveal a shocking secret hidden in her ancestry.
According to historians, the Queen of Britain comes from the bloodline of none other than Prophet Muhammad, the founder of Islam. The revelation was first made in 1986 by Burke’s Peerage but the claims were forgotten for decades until a Moroccan Newspaper recently dug up the British monarch’s true lineage once again.

According to the initial claims made by Burke’s Peerage in 1986, Queen Elizabeth II’s lineage can be traced back to Muhammad’s Daughter, Fatima, through 11th Century’s Earl of Cambridge and the medieval Muslim Spain before that.
Even though some historians have repudiated all such claims, there are many genealogical records from the medieval Muslim Spain that have verified that the Queen is indeed from the bloodline of Prophet’s Muhammad’s only daughter, thereby one of the few remaining descendants of Islam’s founding father. Other great muftis of Islam such as Ali Gomaa of Egypt also support the claims.
After discovering the royal family’s true lineage, the publishing director of Burke wrote a letter to the the-then Prime Minister to show his concern about the Queen’s security, and how the royal family shouldn’t rely on their Islamic descent for protection against Muslim terrorists. He warned that the connection between the royal monarch and the Prophet Mohammad may come as a huge shock to the British people and even put the Queen’s title and reputation in jeopardy.
First Claims Were Made in 1986
Burk’s Peerage was the first publisher ever to make the claims about the Queen’s little-known bloodline. According to the findings, the ancestry was initiated by Zaida – a Muslim princess and the daughter of Al-Mu’tamid ibn Abbad, King of Seville – who fled to Spanish King Alfonso VI’s court after the downfall of her father’s kingdom. After her marriage to Alfonso, she converted to Christianity in the 11h century, changing her name to Isabelle.
One of Isabelle’s three children later married the Earl of Cambridge, becoming the first Muslim descendant to enter the British royal family. However, the origins of Princess Zaida have been highly debated among the historians, some of whom believe that she was the direct descendant of the Prophet while others think that she only became part of the family after marriage.

Genealogist’s Questionable Research
After the genealogist named Brooks-Baker, who made the claims in Burk’s Peerage, passed away in 2005, many started to believe that the accuracy of his investigation into the Queen’s lineage was somewhat questionable. The Telegraph reported that Brooks-Baker was always available to answer the journalists’ questions but his claims were often incorrect.
However, one of the few people who believe that Brooks-Baker was telling the truth is Abdelhamid Al Aouni, a historian and journalist for Moroccan publication Al-Ousboue, which was responsible for publishing the first article on the Queen’s questionable descent ever since the claims were first made in 1986.
While talking to The Economist, Aouni said that Brooks-Baker may have made some false statements in estimating pedigrees during his career but what he had said about the royal family was absolutely correct. The Moroccan journalist believes that the unexpected connection between the Islamic world and the most powerful monarchs today can help bridge the gap between two different religions and cultures.
The Royal Family Isn’t Too Concerned
According to insiders, the royals aren’t really concerned about such rumors and have paid very little attention Brooks-Baker’s claims in the past.
Many other Arabic forums that were less welcoming of the idea said that the Queen must resign from her position and accept Islam as a sign of respect to the great founder and her ancestor Prophet Muhammad. Until now, one from the Buckingham Palace has come forward to make a statement.
News reports are also claiming that Queen Elizabeth has openly accepted her descendance and is even making efforts to push her lineage towards the Muslim world to protect the royal family from extremist attacks. Sources from BBC Arabic say that the royal monarch has ordered the broadcast of various segments dedicated to the idea that she could be the 43rd grand-daughter of Prophet Muhammad.
