Lauren Bacall 1955 Vs. 2010
Lauren Bacall was all about glamour, whether it was her 1955 appearance at the Academy Awards with her eye-catching gown, or her 2010 Vanity Fair Oscar Party appearance, with that all-black kind-of tuxedo revealing that even if she was 85 at the time, elegance ran in her blood. She made her acting debut on Broadway during the early ’40s, and it wasn’t long before talent agents brought her to Hollywood to become the next big thing. Unfortunately, Bacall passed away in 2014, when she was 89 years old. Her fortune was estimated at around $40 million and her last will was surely pages long. Luckily though, she was more than pleased to receive an Honorary Academy Award in 2009.
