Ralph Macchio rose to fame in the film Karate Kid, where he played the part of Daniel LaRusso. This vehicle, a 1947 Ford, played an instrumental part in the film. An iconic scene with Macchio waxing the car over and over is one of the favorites of the fans. In a case of life imitating art, the producer of the film gifted Macchio with the vehicle. In the film, LaRusso’s mentor gifts him this Ford as well. Macchio has kept it all these years although it’s not his daily ride.
