American actress Kirsten Vangsness started acting as a child. Still, most people know her as Penelope Garcia from the “Criminal Minds” franchise. And she played that cheerful FBI analyst well enough to reprise it in several sequels. Fans noticed her weight gain as the show progressed, and Vangsness decided to take action.
Although everyone’s path to a slimmer figure is unique, her method for losing 50 pounds is as simple as it gets. According to a tweet Vangsness posted, her only tricks were listening to a podcast and reading the book by nutritionist Renée Stephens. And it’s clear from her red carpet photos that her efforts paid off.
