Charlie Weis, No Excuses: One Man’s Incredible Rise Through the NFL, 70 Pounds
February of 2014 was an important month for Charlie Weis – it was when he promised Maura, his wife, that there’ll be changes to his way of life. The then-Kansas football coach started riding a stationary bike at work and often engaged himself in strength training. It culminated in a whopping 70-pound reduction even before it was mid-season.
While Kansas could not make it to the Big 12 during the period, we did see a more energetic and confident Charlie for the rest of the season. We guess there’s a silver lining to everything!
