James Gandolfini – The Sopranos, $1 Million
The Sopranos was a huge hit, which explains why the late James Gandolfini was earning $1 million per episode. He portrayed the role of Tony Soprano in this HBO drama which got him numerous awards. Unfortunately, in 2013, James suddenly died of a heart attack at the age of 51, just days before he was supposed to receive an award at the Taormina Film Fest. Sadly, he didn’t get to enjoy his retirement and spend the much of the cash he had made over the years. He posthumously received several awards.
