Si sono conosciuti a 15 anni, quando lui sognava la Serie A e lei volteggiava come promessa della ginnastica artistica sarda.
Dopo 10 anni di fidanzamento, nel 2021 hanno scelto la suggestiva cornice di Porto Cervo per il loro matrimonio, seguito dalla nascita delle figlie Rebecca (2021) e Vittoria (2023). Francesca ha abbandonato le competizioni per supportare la carriera del marito, diventando il suo punto fermo tra trasferte e successi. Oggi dividono la vita tra Milano e la Sardegna, mantenendo intatte le radici isolane.
