The Secret Lies In The Golden Ratio

To make things a bit more precise, scientists have come up with the golden ratio. The ratio itself is 1.618 and can be found by dividing the length of the face with the width. The idea is that if the face is longer than its width in that certain value, or as close as possible to the golden ratio, it would be perceived as more beautiful.
This is done by testing these kinds of faces and the faces with a ratio further away from the golden value. This is why celebrities and people in general often invest money in procedures to alter the shape of their face.
