Thekla Reuten is in ons land voornamelijk bekend geworden met haar rol als Lotte in de film De Tweeling. Voor een internationaal publiek zal ongetwijfeld haar verschijning in In Bruges bijblijven, waar ze mocht acteren aan de zijde van Ralph Fiennes en Colin Farrell. Reuten wisselde regelmatig buitenlandse producties af, met opdrachten in eigen land. Haar curriculum telt reeds een dertigtal filmvertolkingen en tal van rollen in divere series. Alhoewel het in de laatste paar wat stiller is geworden rond deze actrice, konden we ze nog bewonderen in Warrior Nun op netflix en Marionette waarmee ze een prijs als beste actrice in de wacht sleepte. Reuten is ondertussen goed op weg naar haar vijftigste verjaardag, maar oogt nog heel wat jonger.
