Martha Stewart’s Skylands is a rugged summer home that she simply adores. It is situated on the coast of Maine and is the DIY diva’s treasured getaway spot. The property’s purchase was made possible by all her millions of dollars of business earnings. Martha has, of course, put some of her personal touch on the estate’s decoration and layout, so that it is elegant yet lavish in embellishments. Also, the 35,000-square-foot estate includes a playhouse, guest cottage, greenhouse, and a stable. There is also a Catholic church that seats 200 persons.
