Athina Onassis Roussel Sells Skorpios Island In Greece For $131 Million
Skorpios island in Greece, had been in the Onassis family for years. It was the place where Aristotle Onassis had wed Jackie Kennedy. But Aristotle’s sole surviving heir, Athina Onassis, decided to not keep it. She instead sold it for $131 million to a Russian billionaire. The property was first passed on to Athina’s mother Christina, who died of a heart attack. She is buried there, along with Aristotle, and his son Alexander.
