David Seth Kotkin, known professionally as David Copperfield, can afford to join the other celebs on the long list of island owners. The winner of 21 Emmy Awards who is best known for his combination of illusion and storytelling has earned enough money over the years to be able to invest in an island that would be all his. David bought the Musha Cay island in the Bahamas and he reportedly paid $50 million for it. But David was very clever about it. He is actually renting his gorgeous island for more than $37K per night! And you don’t book just one villa but the entire island. Of course, there is a four-night minimum stay so you do the math. Is this the greatest trick of all?
