Celebrities Who Have Their Own Private Islands – A Dream Come True!

The Legendary Marlon Brando’s Tetiaroa Island

The beautiful island of Tetiaroa was owned by the famous actor Marlon Brando. This French-Polynesian island became a luxury resort where the rich could enjoy a vacation in peace. He decided to buy the island in 1966 after he visited Tahiti where Mutiny on the Bounty was filmed. The exact amount Brando paid for this island was undisclosed but what we do know is that it is now a great spot for a cruise destination, equipped with a tennis court, fitness center, water-sports etc. It’s an exquisite eco-friendly escape. It’s only sad that Brando isn’t alive to see the island now.
