The Late Ballet Dancer Rudolf Nureyev’s Il Gallo Lungo
One of the most celebrated dancers of the 20th century, Rudolf Nureyev, passed away in 1992. But while still alive, he owned an island just like many other wealthy celebs. He fell in love with the archipelago Li Galli and he decided to settle on its main island, Gallo Lungo, in 1989. The villa was previously owned by the Russian dancer Leonide Massine. Nureyev redecorated it according to his own liking and he even built a helipad. It is now available for rent and you can rent the whole resort alone or with friends. It’s a shame he didn’t live long enough to enjoy this paradise.
