Mark Hamill & Marilou Hamill – 41 Years
Mark Hamil met Marilou York at a dentist’s office where she worked as a dental hygienist. Hamil later admitted that when they met he wasn’t at the stage where he was ready to settle down and he ended up dating around. Eventually, he realized that he wanted to start a family, and in 1978, York took on Hamil’s last name.
During an interview on Good Morning America, Marilou explained that they have managed to keep their relationship under tight wraps for four decades because they avoid party circuits; not for lack of trying, but they live out of town and it had helped them stay focused on the things that matter most like their three children.
