Ted Danson & Mary Steenburgen – 24 Years
Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson got together at a time when they were both nearly done with love. Danson and his first wife, Casey Coates, had just endured a highly-publicized split and his rebound relationship with Whoopi Goldberg did not end well either.
Fate intervened, bringing Danson and Steenburgen together on the set of Pontiac Moon. Interestingly, they portrayed characters who were married in that film. Steenburgen explained during an interview with Goodhousekeeping that affirmations are important in a relationship. Danson, reportedly, tells Steenburgen every single day that she’s beautiful.
