Daniel Irvin Rather Jr. is a former national news anchor and a renowned journalist. He became a well-known figure in the field of journalism after his efforts to save thousands of people during Hurricane Carla were successful. Currently, he hosts “The News with Dan Rather” on the YouTube channel of The Young Turks.
Dan met his wife, Jean Goebel, in 1956, and the duo fell in love right after their first meeting. After a short period of dating each other, the couple took the big step and married the following year, on 21 April 1957. This power couple has 2 children, daughter Robin Rather and son Dan Rather.
