Krist Novoselic and Darbury Ayn Stenderu, 18 Years – Together
Krist Novoselic is renowned for being a founding member and bassist of the rock band Nirvana. He’s been married to Darbury Ayn Stenderu for nearly two decades. On January 1, 2004, the couple got married after dating for a year. Novoselic had previously been married for a decade to Shelli Hyrkas before divorcing in 1999.
Novoselic established two more bands after Nirvana disbanded and became politically involved. From 2005 until 2019, he was the board head of the electoral reform group FairVote, and in 2020, he became the board chair of Zócalo Public Square. The following year happened to be the 30th anniversary of Nirvana’s “Nevermind” album.
