British actress Emma Watson is not only known for her acting skills but is also famous for her strong voice in activism. She is considered the most beautiful young woman in the world, so there was no surprise when she was offered the job of promoting Lancôme. The company offered an estimated amount of $500,000. It is not a bad payday for a few makeup ads!
However, she encountered some controversy after starring in a skin-lightening cream ad that sort-of goes against her feminist agenda. Long after all the protests, Watson declared that she would no longer promote any beauty products due to lack of diversity.
