Bern Nadette is an African-American actress and author widely acclaimed for her role as Thelma Evans on CBS’s sitcom Good Times for five years. Stanis has also authored 4 books: Situation 101: Relationships, the Good, the Bad, the Ugly; Situations 101: Finances; The Last Night and For Men Only.
After the end of Good Times, she made guest appearances on several television shows, like What’s Happening Now!! and Cosby Show. Stanis was last seen in a Nationwide Insurance commercial. Additionally, she has produced several plays, including Whatever Happened To Black Love. Married to Kevin Fontana now, she is a happy mother of two daughters, Brittany Rose and Dior Rave.
