Dominique Pinon is a legendary French actor who was born on March 4, 1955, in Saumur, France. He has achieved cult status among fans and admirers for his roles in many films by director Jean-Pierre Jeunet. He often portrays bumbling yet lovable and eccentric characters who provide comedic relief in films like Amélie and Delicatessen.
Talking about his education, Dominique first studied literature at the Poitiers Faculty of Arts before relocating to Paris to enroll at the Cours Simon School of Dramatic Arts. Despite his comedic roles, Pinon is also a capable dramatic actor and has appeared in films by other respected directors such as François Truffaut and Maurice Pialat.
