Connie Francis – 84 Years
Concetta Maria Franconero, better known by her professional name Connie Francis, was born on December 12, 1938, in Newark, New Jersey, United States. She is an American vocalist who recorded country, rock and roll, and classical vocal music in the 1950s and 1960s.
Later in her career, when she released her single titled Many Years Ago, it reached number 7 on the US charts. And it was at that point that Connie began recording cover versions of her own songs in different languages. Ultimately, she recorded songs in over 15 languages. She joined ASCAP in 1959. Some of Francis’s famous songs include My Happiness, Among My Souvenirs, and Lipstick on Your Collar.
