Cara Williams – Age 93
Cara is best known for her role on The Defiant Ones, for which she received an Oscar nomination, and for her part in the TV series Pete and Gladys, for which she got an Emmy Award nomination. She was born Bernice Kamiat in Brooklyn, New York, in 1925. After moving to Los Angeles, she chose her stage name Cara Williams and began performing on the radio. By the time she was 16, Cara began performing in bit roles in films, with her first credited role on Wide Open Town, in 1941. Her last performances were on Visions (1977) and The One Man Jury (1978), as Cara later became an interior designer.
