Sally is a well-known face from the American cinema, as she’s been appearing on screen since 1962. Her first acting paycheck came from her television work, as she starred in Gidget, The Girl with Something Extra, and Sybil. For her various roles and achievements, Sally was given two Academy Awards, three Primetime Emmys, two Golden Globes, a Screen Actors Guild award, a Tony Award, and two BAFTA awards. Sally got her two Oscars for her roles on Norma Rae and Places in the Heart. She also appeared in numerous other movies like Forrest Gump, Mrs. Doubtfire, and in 2018, Sally was seen on the TV mini-series, Maniac.
