En mai 2011, Alec Baldwin avait reçu de mauvaises nouvelles lors d’une visite chez le médecin. Âgé de 54 ans cette année-là, il a été diagnostiqué prédiabétique. Pour ne pas aggraver son cas, l’acteur a décidé de suivre un régime Baldwin et de faire des exercices. Pour son régime, il a freiné sa consommation de sucre tout en pratiquant de pilates et en nageant régulièrement. La méthode était si efficace qu’il a réussi à perdre 35 livres.
