Cela fait plus de 20 ans que Laurent partage avec Benoît Petitjean. Les deux amoureux filent le parfait amour et ne se quittent jamais. Ils se sont pacsés en 2012. Laurent Ruquier évoque très rarement sa vie de couple en public. Il s’est récemment confessé de façon légère : « Moi je ronfle, je vous le dis. Je tiens à l’avouer, je ronfle. Moi je lui dis toujours : ‘Tu n’as qu’à dormir, tu ne m’entendrais pas ronfler’. Il faut s’endormir le premier ! »
