La vie de Karine Lemarchand n’a pas toujours été facile. Avant de devenir animatrice, elle a été mannequin et durant la période où elle exerçait ce métier, elle a utilisé toutes les méthodes pour garder la ligne. Mais la perte de poids de Karine Lemarchand n’a pas toujours été faite de manière délibérée. En effet, elle a souffert de l’anorexie et de la boulimie à un certain moment de sa vie et son tout premier régime amincissant date de ses 11 ans où elle ne mangeait que de la pamplemousse et du thon. Elle a perdu beaucoup de poids et c’était même inquiétant, mais heureusement, elle ne souffre plus de ce trouble alimentaire aujourd’hui.
