En 2014, après le succès du premier film « Qu’est-ce qu’on a fait au Bon Dieu », l’acteur français Christian Clavier s’est confié sur sa prise de poids évidente. Lors d’un entretien avec le magazine Le Point, il a confié qu’il a dû suivre un régime amincissant pour entrer dans son personnage. Grâce à ce régime alimentaire, il a perdu 15 kilos. C’est une prouesse pour le comédien qui a beaucoup souffert de sa prise de poids. Beaucoup de personnes l’ont pointé du doigt quand il a commencé à grossir. Le réalisateur du film « Les Bronzés » avait son mot à dire. Selon Patrice Leconte, la seule chose qui a changé chez Christian Clavier était le faut qu’il a pris 153 kilos.
