Susanne Daubner – $1-5 million
The German moderator Susanne Daubner is a permanent member of the “Tagesschau” spokesperson team. Since 1999 she has been there as Wilhelm Wieben’s successor and everyone knows the distinctive news anchor of the “Tagesschau”. In the summer of 1989 she fled to West Germany via Hungary and Yugoslavia. She planned her escape together with her then boyfriend from West Berlin, whom she later married. Daubner has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Saxony-Anhalt Art Foundation. The 60-year-old moderator, who was born in Halle, will be a member of the committee for three years with immediate effect. Meanwhile she loves with her daughter in Hamburg. Daubner gets around 260 euros per main edition of the ‘Tagesschau’.
