Marietta Slomka zählt zu den bekanntesten Journalisten der deutschen Fernsehens, die seit 2001 als Moderatorin des Nachrichtenmagazins “Heute-Journal” tätig ist. Viele Zuschauer kennen sie als Moderatorin des ZDF-“heute journal” ist. Dort war sie dafür berüchtigt, besonders kritische Fragen zu stellen und auch hartnäckig bleibt. Dies führte zur Wortreaktion “geslomkat”. Wegen ihrer scharfen blauen Augen wurde sie 2013 zur schönsten Nachrichtenmoderatorin gewählt.
Seit 2001 ist sie Hauptmoderatorin des „heute-journals“. Es wird vermutet, dass Marietta Slomka zwischen 250.000 und 280.000 Euro jährlich verdient. Ihr Vermögen wird auf rund 3 Millionen Euro geschätzt.
