Hierfür nahm er ganze 100.000 Euro pro Sendung ein. Mit seiner lockeren und leichten Art verzauberte er durchgehen ein Millionenpublikum. Mit zusätzlichen Werbeverträgen, wie dem mit Deutschlands bekanntester Gummibärchenmarke „Haribo“, steigerte er sein Vermögen noch weiter. Zusätzlich hält er rechte an vielen Filmen und beteiligte sich an deutschen Kino Produktionen. Sein Vermögen beläuft sich auf ca. 85 Millionen Euro.
