Silvia Wollny kennt man in Deutschland vor allem durch ihre eigene Reality-TV Show „Die Wollnys: Eine schrecklich große Familie. Schon seit etlichen Jahren sind Silvia und ihre Familie ein Hit auf RTL-Zwei mit ihrer Sendung. Die Kameras begleiten sie, ihren Verlobten Harald und einen Teil ihrer elf Kinder nun schon seit 2011. Auch gewann Silvia schon das in ganz Deutschland beliebte Promi Big-Brother. Sie versuchte sich sogar als Sängerin und brachte zwei Songs, „Ich bin ich“ und Hey, ich kenn dich aus dem Fernsehen“ auf den deutschen Markt.
Durch die ganzen Einnahmen hat Silvia mittlerweile ein großzügiges Vermögen von zwei Millionen Euro angehäuft.
