Die gebürtige Ungarin Cicciolina, mit bürgerlichen Namen Ilona Staller, sorgte in den Siebzigern und Achtzigern für Wirbel: Die 69-jährige Blondine saß von 1987 bis 1992 im italienischen Parlament – für die kleine Partei “Partito Radicale”. Im Jahr 1978 sorgte Staller für Schlagzeilen, als sie in der Fernsehshow „C’era due Volte“ vor laufenden Kameras ihre Brüste zeigte. Sie drehte auch zu ihrer Zeit als Parlamentarierin noch Pornos – erst im Jahr 1989 beendete sie ihre aktive Karriere. Nun zahlen sich die fünf Jahre im Parlament aus. Laut italienischen Medien kassiert Cicciolina eine üppige Pension. Sie bekommt jährlich über 39.000 Euro.
