The crime scene inspector Axel Prahl, known from the “Tatort Münster” clarifies the toughest cases in Germany’s most popular crime series on the first German television week after week. The most successful crime scene format of the last ten years has not only helped ARD but also Axel to make a lot of money. According to various sources such as the “BILD” newspaper, the drama receives a whopping 80,000 euros per completed episode and a further 40,000 euros per broadcast repetition. Due to his great success, the fee should even be doubled. But with net assets of 3 million euros, he can’t complain about the small amount either.
