Janina Reimann – Ein Leben zwischen Texas und Familienbanden
Der Name Reimann weckt sofort Bilder von Fernweh, Abenteuer und amerikanischem Traum. Konny und Manu, die bekanntesten deutschen Auswanderer, haben längst auf Hawaii ihr Paradies geschaffen. Doch ihre Kinder schreiben ihre ganz eigenen Geschichten in den USA.
Tochter Janina lebt in Texas, wo sie sich ein Leben aufgebaut hat, während Bruder Jason in Portland zu Hause ist. Trotz der großen Entfernungen bleibt das Band zwischen ihnen stark. Vor allem Janina und ihre Mutter Manu stehen in engem Kontakt – fast täglich tauschen sie Neuigkeiten am Telefon aus. Und auch wenn persönliche Treffen seltener sind, kommen familiäre Grillabende nie zu kurz.
