Thomas Anders, bekannt durch Modern Talking, kennt den Trubel des Showgeschäfts nur zu gut. Sein Sohn Alexander Mick Welung jedoch hält sich lieber zurück. Zwar ähnelt er seinem Vater äußerlich stark, doch in Sachen Karriere geht er einen ganz eigenen Weg. Bisher tritt er nicht musikalisch in Erscheinung – stattdessen studiert er und konzentriert sich auf persönliche Projekte fernab des Scheinwerferlichts.
Thomas Anders betont oft, dass er seinen Sohn nicht in die Musikbranche drängen möchte. Ihm sei wichtiger, dass Alexander etwas findet, das ihn erfüllt. Ob er irgendwann doch in der Öffentlichkeit auftaucht, bleibt offen.
