Die taffe Moderatorin und Journalistin begeistert ohne Zweifel die deutschen Zuschauer und besonders angetan von ihrem Charme war auch ihr erster Ehemann Christof Lang. Schon im Jahr 2004 heirateten die zwei nach einiger Zeit Freundschaft und Zusammenarbeit. Selbst diese gute Basis stellte sich nicht als Sicherheit einer ewig währenden Verbindung heraus und leider wurde im Jahr 2013 die Trennung offiziell bekannt gegeben. Jedoch kam es vor Kurzem zu neuem Liebesglück für die 52-Jährige. Slomka heiratete 2019 erneut, diesmal den Architekten Andreas Veauthier.
