Certainly “Bares for Rares” was a stroke of luck for the moderator and TV chef Horst Lichter when it came to jobs. After all, the junk show is one of the most popular formats on German TV. However, the engagement has had a negative impact on the private life of Lichter with his wife Nada. The marriage of the couple, who have been married since 2009, was almost broken by the show. Horst had reached his limits after seven years of “Bares for Rares”. “I slept in the hotel for over 200 days, it wasn’t easy for us,” says the moderator. “It was an inner turmoil, we had a visiting marriage.”
