Deutsche Comedy kann man sich ohne die Ikone Anke Engelke gar nicht mehr vorstellen, so viele Jahre hat sie im Fernsehen mitgewirkt. Allerdings wissen die wenigsten, dass sie ursprünglich aus Kanada kommt. Erst 1971 ist ihre Familie nach Deutschland gekommen. In Deutschland lernte sie dann Klaus Fischer kennen. Die Beziehung ging für einige Jahre, während Anke Engelke an ihrer Fernsehkarriere arbeitete. Das Paar hatte auch gemeinsame Kinder, bevor sie im Mai 2015 ihre Trennung bekannt gaben. Seither weiß man nicht viel darüber, ob die Komikerin mittlerweile wieder in einer Beziehung ist.
