Wenn du an einen Schauspieler denkst, der für eine Rolle wirklich alles mitmacht, landet Crowe ziemlich schnell ganz oben auf der Liste. Mal legt er für The Nice Guys bewusst zu, mal baut er sich für Maximus Decimus Meridius in Gladiator einen Körper an, der nach „Arena bereit“ schreit.
