Den Entschluss, bewusst und gesund abzunehmen, hat die Sängerin wirklich ernst genommen, aber ohne Drama und ohne irgendeinen komplizierten Wunderplan. Statt ihre Ernährung komplett auf den Kopf zu stellen, hat sie an den Stellschrauben gedreht, die im Alltag am meisten ausmachen. Weniger sinnloses Snacken zwischen den Mahlzeiten, Schluss mit ungesunden Drinks, und insgesamt einfach achtsamer essen. Dazu kam, dass sie sich angewöhnt hat, kleinere Portionen zu wählen und nicht aus Gewohnheit weiterzuessen. So blieb es machbar, alltagstauglich, und trotzdem konsequent.
Unterm Strich hat sie mit dieser Umstellung plus Sport bisher 11 Kilo verloren. Und auch privat läuft es rund: Mit ihrem Mann Dana Isaiah bekam sie 2018 ihr erstes Kind, ein ziemlich schönes Extra-Highlight neben dem Fitness-Erfolg.
