Der Wendepunkt kam nicht auf einem roten Teppich, sondern ganz banal im Flugzeug. Als der bekannte Schauspieler, Autor und Filmemacher merkte, dass er kaum noch in den Sitz passte, war klar: So geht’s nicht weiter. Beim Abnehmen half ihm vor allem eine ziemlich simple, aber harte Entscheidung, Zucker konsequent zu streichen. Genau das brachte die Kilos ins Rutschen. Und anders als bei vielen kurzen Diät-Phasen hat er es geschafft, das neue Gewicht nicht nur zu erreichen, sondern auch langfristig zu halten.
Inzwischen gehört Bewegung fest zum Alltag, er steht praktisch täglich im Fitnessstudio. Insgesamt sind dabei fast 20 Kilo runtergegangen, ein richtig starkes Ergebnis. Und während er körperlich dranblieb, lief auch beruflich weiter alles rund: 2019 kehrte er mit der Neuauflage von Jay and Silent Bob zurück und zeigte, dass er nicht nur an der Waage, sondern auch kreativ weiter am Ball bleibt.
