Was steckt hinter Gina Lollobrigidas Schmuckschatulle?
Gina Lollobrigida ist so eine Person, bei der man sofort merkt: Das ist nicht einfach nur ein Filmstar, das ist eine ganze Ära. Geboren 1927 in einem kleinen italienischen Dorf, wurde sie in den 50ern und 60ern zu einer der größten europäischen Schauspielerinnen und nebenbei zum internationalen It-Girl. Und weil Stillstand nicht ihr Ding war, blieb sie nicht bei der Leinwand stehen. Sie arbeitete auch als Journalistin und Bildhauerin, in den 70ern führte sie sogar ein Interview mit Fidel Castro. Vielseitiger geht es kaum.
Auch privat hatte sie ihren eigenen Stil, besonders wenn es um Schmuck ging. 2003 trennte sie sich von einem Teil ihrer Sammlung und nutzte die Erlöse, um die Stammzellenforschung zu unterstützen. Ein paar Jahre später, 2006, landete sie wieder in den Schlagzeilen, diesmal wegen einer Beziehung mit einem deutlich jüngeren Geschäftsmann. Ob Glamour, Kunst oder Klatsch, sie wusste immer, wie man Gespräche in Gang bringt.
